 A little background on Lakelife 

If you've made it this far, I want to thank you for visiting Lakelife Mobile Marine & Auto! My name is Brian Kammers, living here in beautiful Osoyoos, BC, and its hard not to be attracted to the lake life.  Having been born and raised on Lake Osoyoos, water skiing at the age of 3, on a slalom ski at 5, and on one of the original wakeboards at 13, I haven't been able to get very far from the lake.

I previously owned and operated an Automotive and Marine shop for 12 years just across the border in Oroville, WA, but when covid landed, I chose to immigrate here to Osoyoos, to be with my family. Seeing the need for reliable, efficient, and high quality marine repair, I decided to jump in with both feet (pun intended).

I've got an extensive 20+ year background in automotive and marine repair and modification that started with trade school, a keen eye with attention to detail, and the best marine diagnostic software to help aid in troubleshooting even the most complex of issues.

Lakelife isn't just a catchy name, my family and I live it the best we can. You can often find us surfing or wakeboarding behind our boat, or helping to teach friends and family the sports as well. Even my dad, well into his 70's, slalom skis over 70 times a season!

I chose to be mobile for many reasons, primarily that the process of removing the boat from the lake and hauling it to be repaired is such an inconvenience. Most repairs and troubleshooting can be done on the spot; floating, on a lift, or on the trailer, avoiding the hassle of pulling the boat out or hauling it all the way to a shop. If the boat needs to be pulled, but perhaps you didn't bring the truck this time, that's not a problem, I'll gladly hook up and tow it out. Should a job get really involved, I'll be as up front as possible and help figure out a plan of action.
